The firm of Edward Oliver & Co., solicitors of 38 Crossbrook Street, Cheshunt, Waltham
Cross, Hertfordshire was originally formed in Essex as long ago as the 1930s and
initially run by Mr. Edward Oliver on his own account. Since then the firm has existed
in various different constitutions and in various areas. It opened in Cheshunt in
1974 when Alan Goldberg set up an office there and he was joined shortly thereafter
by David Aumayer who subsequently became a partner in the firm. Alan and David have
continued practising in partnership ever since and have been at their present address
since 1983. Alan was admitted as a solicitor in 1972 and David in 1978.
The firm prides itself in the fact that all its clients are guaranteed the personal
attention of either Alan or David and the benefit of the significant experience which
they have both acquired since qualifying as solicitors.
Both Alan and David have dealt with many different kinds of legal work over the years
that they have been in practice.
They now both deal with all forms of residential and commercial conveyancing as well
as Wills and probate. Additionally they have significant litigation experience and
still frequently undertake matrimonial work and certain other types of general litigation.
The firm is fully computerised and, whilst capable of covering many aspects of the
law, gives particular attention to private client work and small and medium-sized
businesses, whether incorporated or not.
